Hello guys...
I want to post a different thought tonight. Hehe, it is not about my
thought. But it is about my assignment.
Ya, I get a chance to review a drama which was presented by the 7th semester
of Universitas PGRI Semarang.
Maybe, do you feel curious about which drama I've choose?
Okay, I will introduce all the 7 dramas first.

-A Runaway to Arabian Night

-Love of The Wonderful Wizard
-Drag Me Down in The A.M
-Fated To Love
-Diversity
I think I've choose the best 2 dramas.
1. The Fading Charm of Cleopatra
This story is about a young man who is adoring Cleopatra, he is falling for
her charm. His parents are worried about Zaki (the young man) so they introduce
Zaki to a beautiful woman. At first, Zaki was mad and dislike the match that
his parents have made. He kept mumbling about Cleopatra. He was like a psycho
before, he yelled that Zara (the beautiful lady) is not his true love. He kept
reject it. Soon as time flies, Zara was accepted by Zaki as his wife.
One day Zaki is starring at Cleopatra's photo which is hanging beside
Zaki's bed. He thinks that one of so many photos of Cleopatra was missing. He
mad at Zara and point her that it is her fault. Zara feels sad, why would his
bad habit of adoring Cleopatra is starting. Zara is looking for the missing's
photo and finally she found it. She tried to hung the photo by climb a chair,
but what a pity! Zara fell down and can't keep her pregnancy. She called Zaki
for a help, but Zaki ignore her. Zara is running out of blood, she is dead.
Zaki has realizing his act and regret it. Then he knows that it is just a
delusion, Cleopatra is his delusion and she is not real.
2. Drag Me Down in The A.M
“Drag Me Down in The
A.M” was presented by the 7th semester from B class, written
and directed by Novia Eka. This story is inspired by the romance of Ken Arok
and Ken Dedes. It was 70’s story that they remake and make it into the new
atmosphere so people in this era can watch it and this remake makes the drama
more interested.
This
drama tells about a young man named Aaron who is falling in love with a beauty
woman named Daisy. He falls in love with her like love at the first sight. But
the sad story is Daisy was kidnapped by the powerful leader of Tumapel Company
named Thomas James Antonio and she was forced to marry him. In other hand,
Aaron was completely falling for Daisy so he uses all his ways to owned Daisy.
Aaron comes to a famous weapon maker named Mr. Grand and asks him to make a
strong weapon which he will use to kill Thomas. But it takes too long time and
Aaron is impatient, so he killed Mr. Grand and takes the weapon to kill Thomas
James Antonio. While that accident was happened, Daisy was there but she shut
her mouth because she hates Thomas. When Thomas died Daisy was already
pregnant, after that accident Aaron gets his chance to approach Daisy. Soon as
she gave birth and her son grew older. Her son, Nusa asks Daisy why Aaron does
not treat Nusa better. Accidentally Daisy says that Aaron is not his biological
father and his biological father was dead. Nusa mad at Aaron and pointed Aaron
that he is the murdered or his father, so Nusa shoot Aaron and Aaron died in
Daisy arm.
This
drama is great because it was a remake from the legend story of Ken Arok and
Ken Dedes maybe people can guess the story line from this drama, but I think
the script writer wants to show us the differences between the old story and
this new remake drama. I think this drama is more fresh and modern so people
who watch this drama can feel the romance of this drama well. The actors and
actresses can present their acting well so the audience feel and get the point
of the story. The theme of this drama is about a young man, Aaron who falls in
love with a beautiful lady named Daisy, but Daisy already married with Thomas.
The young man gets a chance to work in the lady’s house. Aaron killed Thomas
and get Daisy. The plot itself is quiet unique, as I know the old story of Ken
Arok and Ken Dedes is boring. When I watch this performance, I’m not bored at
all. The stage, costume and scene changes were good and the actors and
actresses can present the story line well. I think the script writer wants to
show us the feeling from love at the first sight and how a man adore a woman
whom he loved so much till the man does anything to get the one he loved.
Hehehe, and how that's end everyone! I've chose two best performances, I
ranked it by myself and memorize the story line, then I can't get out from that
story LOL.
Okay I think it is enough now. It is my first time updating in English, I
